The weather is warming up, time to take out the yard equipment and get it tuned and operational. Sharpen those shears, add fresh fuel and oh yeah, time to hang up the hammock in a nice shady spot.

It is time to take the patio furniture out of winter storage. Bring out the furniture and clean it up for use. If you have wood furniture, inspect the finish and determine whether it needs a fresh coat of finish to protect it from the harsh summer sun. Did you know you can run the furnace fan to filter the air in your home without operating the furnace in most cases? The filter system in your furnace can do a fair to very good job of air filtration depending upon the equipment and filters used. Turn the furnace from "Heat" to "Off". You can turn the fan on and off periodically to filter the air as needed. |
