How To Replace the Control Module

Move the shutoff arm into the down ("on") position. Pull the end of the shutoff arm from the back of the control module support (as shown below).

There are two or more screws located near the corners or edges of the module holding it in place. Remove these screws. Carefully pull the module out from the support box.

To install the new module, turn the ejector blades with one hand, until the flat spot on the cam aligns with the hole in the module. Slip the module into place and replace the screws.

Insert the shutoff arm into the back of the control module support. Move the shutoff arm down in to the "on" position. Replace the face plate and knob (if any) and reinstall the ice maker into the freezer. Plug in the freezer and test the ice maker.
